The Authority seeks to maximise the use of public transport by people visiting, living, working and studying at the Park, working collaboratively with Transport for NSW in reviewing and improving services. We also strongly encourage active transport, active walking and cycling which is better for your well-being and better for the environment.

Day-to-day public transport

Trains run between Sydney Olympic Park Station and Lidcombe Station every ten minutes on weekdays.

Five bus routes regularly service Sydney Olympic Park, providing connections to Newington, Lidcombe, Burwood, Strathfield, Parramatta, Rhodes, Top Ryde and Chatswood.

Ferries operate between the Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf, the City and Parramatta.

Take advantage of the public transport systems in place at Sydney Olympic Park. Using public transport, you can not only save money, but also help in the reduction of carbon emissions.

Public transport for major events

Mass transit integrated ticketing (train and bus travel) is included with specified major events at the Park. Check your ticket conditions to see if public transport is included or visit Transport for NSW's events page to find out more information about your upcoming event.  

Active transport

The number of cyclists visiting the Parklands continues to grow each year. And it's no wonder, with 35km of safe cycleways alongside Olympic icons, spectacular parklands and areas of cultural heritage.

• If you don’t own your own bike, you can hire one
• There are over 50 bike racks across Sydney Olympic Park that you can use to lock your bike in between trips. You can use our map to see the locations.

Let’s not forget that you can walk along the highly accessible pathways across Sydney Olympic Park. When walking, you can access over 80 drinking fountains across the Park that you can use to refill your reusable bottle on the go. See our map for drinking fountain locations.
