Noise notification
Saturday 10 May: Please be advised the following event "Under Construction" will be held on Saturday 10th May from 2pm – 7pm at Sydney Showground. Also note there may be intermittent noise on Friday 9th May due to sound testing.Friday 9 - Sunday 11 May: Please be advised that Sydney Showground have also issued a Sound Notice for the "Meatstock Festival" which they are hosting from Friday 9th May (4pm - 10pm) to Sunday 11th May.

- The following roads will be impacted by closures to support events and site works over the coming week: Olympic Blvd, Grand Pde, Showground Rd and Murray Rose Ave. View map.
- Changed parking conditions in the parklands – Stage 2
Changed parking conditions in the parklands will be extended to the carparks which service Wentworth Common and the Archery Centre. This is currently scheduled for implementation mid 2025 and will involve the same technology and metering approaches as Bicentennial Park, Blaxland Riverside park and P5b and P5c carparks. Updates will be posted on our mySOP Engage project page. - City of Parramatta community panels
City of Parramatta are seeking expressions of interest from community members to join one of their nine new voluntary Advisory Panels to provide feedback and advice on Council services and projects. The panels include: City Economy; Community Infrastructure; Cultural; Environmental Sustainability; First Nations; Heritage; Integrated Transport; Smart City and Innovation; Social Sustainability and Inclusion. Applications close 5pm on Monday 26 May 2025. More information. - Upcoming site works
There will be line marking works which will occur on Bennelong Parkway on the 13-14th May commencing 9:30 pm – 4:30 am (weather permitting). These works are night works and may affect traffic coming through.
