  • Have Your Say – City of Parramatta Special Event Parking Scheme
    City of Parramatta has commenced community consultation on a proposed Special Event Parking Scheme (SEPS) for Newington and parts of Silverwater to help reduce the impacts of event-related parking and traffic in the area.

    For more information and to provide feedback before the consultation period ends at 5pm on Monday 27 July 2026, please visit City of Parramatta Council | Newington Parking Restrictions.

  • Filming notifications
    Due to filming, there will be road closures and changes to parking conditions in the coming weeks.

    P6D car park will be closed from 10pm on Sunday 5 July 8pm to Wednesday 8 July. Parking in P6 will not be affected.

    Holker Busway will be closed from midday to 6pm on Wednesday 15 July, with traffic management in place. There will also be drone movement in the area over this period.
