Multi-event day - Saturday 20 June
Sydney Olympic Park will be host to multiple major events on Saturday 20 June with the AFL, NRL, British artist Dave, & Supernova 2026 all hosting events at venues across the precinct.It’s set to be a big day, with plenty of atmosphere and visitors expected. Major event road closures and transport will be in place. The community is encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time. Peak traffic periods are expected to be from 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Filming notification – Herb Elliot Avenue
Due to filming, there will be partial road closure in place on Herb Elliot Ave from 3:00 pm on Friday 19 June to 5:00 am Saturday 20 June.Closures may partially extend on to Park St and Showground Rd.
- Update: Line marking works
Line marking works will continue through to Wednesday 17 June. Starting with Olympic Boulevard & Australia Avenue activities are being undertaken during night shifts after 10:00–11:00 pm to minimise disruption and noise impacts. Temporary road closures will be in place when required. - On Exhibition: Development application for alterations & additions to café at Armory Wharf
Any person may make a written submission to the Sydney Olympic Park Authority concerning this application. Submissions must be made through the NSW Planning Portal during the notification period ending Monday 29 June 2026. The application, including supporting documentation, can be found on the NSW Planning Portal. Utility Work on Murray Rose Avenue and Kevin Coombs Avenue
Transport for NSW will be conducting utility works for up to ten shifts from 7am and 6pm between Monday 15 June and Friday 26 June 2026, weather permitting. They will also be working up to two night shifts between 22 June and 28 June 2026 between 7pm and 5am at these sites.For more information visit Transport for NSW.
Powells Creek Bridge restoration works
Restoration works on Powells Creek Bridge (Bridge 7) have commenced. The bridge will be inaccessible for approximately 1 week.Signage is in place and alternative paths are available. We appreciate your patience while works are in process.
