To support the Sydney Royal Easter Show event, Cathy Freeman Park will be closed to public thoroughfare. Entry will only be available to event ticket holders or site permits. 

Closure dates: Tuesday 17 March - Tuesday 21 April

Cathy Freeman Park is close to some of our biggest facilities and is home to one of the Park’s most loved attractions, the Olympic Cauldron! 

  • Enjoy a picnic with Accor Stadium as the backdrop 
  • Walk, run or cycle along the shared pathways 
  • Take your dog for a walk (on-leash at all times in this park) 
  • Take the kids to the playground for some fun in the sun 
  • Grab a bite to eat or drink in our cafes, restaurants and bars
