On 1 July 2001 we were given the role of managing some of NSW Government’s most significant assets using Sydney Olympic Park Authority Act 2001.
Since the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we have transformed the Park into a world-class and environmentally sustainable business, education, residential, recreation and events district.
We are responsible for the day-to-day management of all public places, 430 hectares of parklands and 7 sporting venues. This includes the management of buildings, facilities and landscape assets; delivery of programs and events; enhancing your experience, provision of sports and leisure facilities; conservation of water, energy and resources; protection of ecosystems, environment and heritage as well as the coordination of the precinct on a daily basis.
We are the centre of the fast-growing Olympic corridor and our future is guided by Master Plan 2030. With this plan your Park will enter the next exciting stage of development including more:
Your new Sydney Olympic Park isn't just an unforgettable destination – it's a place you'll never want to leave!
