Parklands Advisory Committee Vacancies

The Sydney Olympic Park Authority Board has a number of vacancies on its Parklands Advisory Committee and is seeking expressions of interest from potential candidates to assist it in providing independent advice on the care, control and management of the Sydney Olympic Parklands.

The current vision for the Parklands (i.e. Parklands 2020) is now in the process of being updated to plan ahead to 2030 and beyond and to address the many challenges now facing the Parklands. This work will also guide the Authority in updating the current Plan of Management for the Parklands.

Interested candidates for Committee membership must submit a written application outlining their capabilities in one or more of the following areas:

• Environment/Education
• Sports Participation
• Ecology/ Conservation
• Strategic Planning
• Planning / Green Infrastructure/ Open Space & Recreation
• Community Needs/ Stakeholder Engagement
• Design/ Arts/ Heritage
• Industry Knowledge
• Parklands Management / Programming/ Facility Management
