27 Feb 2018

Hundreds of thousands of music fans will converge at Sydney Olympic Park from Thursday 15 – Saturday 17 March for a huge three days of concerts featuring Ed Sheeran, Luke Bryan and Bruno Mars.

Three consecutive sold-out concerts from music megastar Ed Sheeran will pack ANZ Stadium coinciding with country music singer Luke Bryan on Friday and popstar Bruno Mars on Saturday.

Sydney Olympic Park Chief Executive Officer Charles Moore said each date is expected to bring close to 100,000 concert goers to the Park.

“It will be a huge three days for Sydney Olympic Park as over a quarter of a million people fill our restaurants and cafes, car parks and venues for a memorable evening of world-class entertainment. This is another great example of how our legacy assets from the Olympics continue to deliver both positive economic and community outcomes” said Mr Moore.

The precinct will be busy with traffic heavy and car parks expected to fill fast. Concert goers are encouraged to leave the car at home and take public transport with extra trains and major event buses operating.

Sydney Olympic Park Authority is working with Transport NSW, ANZ Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, Police NSW and Roads and Maritime Services to deliver an exceptional event experience.

“Sydney Olympic Park continues to provide the very best in entertainment for the people of NSW and with the biggest calendar of concert events on offer this year we are reinforcing our position as Australia’s concert capital,” said Mr Moore.

This mega weekend of concerts join an enormous line up of big-name international acts that have already performed at Australia’s concert capital Sydney Olympic Park this year including Foo Fighters, Paramore, Queen + Adam Lambert, Lionel Richie and Roger Waters.

Other concert tours set to hit the stage later in the year include Taylor Swift Reputation Stadium Tour, Pink’s Beautiful Trauma World Tour, Sam Smith’s The Thrill Of It All World Tour and Imagine Dragons Evolve World Tour.
