Sydney Olympic Park Authority is in the process of replacing the Guidelines for Outdoor Advertising, Identification and Promotion Signage with a new Commercial Signage Policy.
The current guidelines, from 2002, are complex and do not include many types of signage now found within Sydney Olympic Park.
The new Commercial Signage Policy will cover a range of signage including:
- Building identification signs;
- Promotional signage;
- Third-party and on-premises advertising;
- Digital signage; and
- Hoarding signs
The new Policy will simplify the controls regarding signage in Sydney Olympic Park and will clearly identify the types of signs that are permitted in various locations within the Park.
