The Badu Mangrove boardwalk in Bicentennial Park opened in 1988 and now in the park’s 30th anniversary year will undergo a replacement program.
To allow for a large section of the timber walkway and floating platoons to be replaced, the boardwalk will be temporarily closed from Wednesday 14 February until mid 2018.
During this time, the community will need to make use of alternative pathways.
Works will take place Monday through to Saturday between 6.30am - 6pm.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority appreciates your understanding as we deliver this important replacement program to ensure this parkland asset can continue to be well-used by the community for decades to come.
