Access Guidelines

Sydney Olympic Park Access Guidelines Third Edition – May 2011 provides detailed guidance on accessible requirements so the Park may continue to enable people with mobility, vision, hearing or intellectual disabilities to use our facilities independently, equitably and with dignity.
These guidelines apply to:
- all building works and infrastructure within Sydney Olympic Park provides guidance to architects, designers, venue and event operators, developers and others who are involved in the design, fit-out, planning and operations of venues or proposed developments within Sydney Olympic Park ensuring an accessible environment
- overlay for temporary events provides an understanding of the range of challenges that need to be addressed, to allow people with disabilities to be appropriately assisted to use the parklands independently, when introducing temporary events at the Park
- Parklands within Sydney Olympic Park provides detailed guidance and an understanding of the range of challenges that need to be addressed to allow people with disabilities to be appropriately assisted to use the parklands independently.
